coloring your artwork

This is a question for all people who color their drawings not using a computer.

My friend and I are struggling with coming out with finished products of our work and wanted to know what you use to color your piece.

example: paint, marker, colored pencil

It would be awesome if you could let us know exactly what kind of products you use as well as if you can let us know which piece you used it for on deviantart.
